Peter Campana Portrait

Peter Campana represents the fourth generation of the Campana family to join Anchor Realty, Inc., continuing a San Francisco real estate legacy that began more than 80 years ago with his great-grandfather, Angelo Campana, who co-founded the company in 1945.

A Bay Area native, Peter was raised in San Mateo and attended Junípero Serra High School, where he was a standout tennis player before continuing his academic and athletic career at Boston College. At Boston College, Peter double majored in Political Science and Theology, completed the Pre-Law Program, and competed for four years as a member of the varsity men’s tennis team. His academic background helped shape a thoughtful, analytical approach to problem-solving, while his experience as a collegiate athlete reinforced the discipline, competitiveness, perseverance, and teamwork that continue to influence his professional career.

Following graduation, Peter began his career in the technology industry, where he spent approximately six years in sales. Working in a fast-paced and highly competitive environment, he developed significant experience in business development, negotiation, strategic account management, and building long-term client relationships. His work required him to understand complex client needs, communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, and consistently deliver results in an industry defined by rapid change and high expectations.

While building his career in technology, Peter also remained closely involved with Anchor Realty and the family business. For the greater part of three years, he assisted with residential and commercial sales and leasing, gaining practical real estate experience alongside his father, Mark Campana, and developing a deeper understanding of the San Francisco Bay Area market.

In 2026, Peter made the decision to join Anchor Realty full-time and become an active part of the company’s next generation of leadership. As General Manager, he is involved across the firm’s property management, leasing, brokerage, and business operations. His responsibilities include working closely with property owners, tenants, vendors, buyers, and sellers, as well as assisting with leasing strategy, property improvements, operational initiatives, business development, and the continued growth of the company.

Peter brings a unique perspective to Anchor Realty by combining the institutional knowledge and long-standing relationships of a multigenerational family business with the client-focused and results-oriented experience he developed in the technology sector. He believes that successful real estate relationships are built through responsiveness, trust, transparency, sound judgment, and a genuine understanding of each client’s goals.

His approach is also rooted in the belief that real estate is ultimately a people business. Whether working with a longtime property owner, a prospective tenant, a buyer or seller, or a vendor, Peter places a strong emphasis on communication, follow-through, and developing relationships that extend beyond an individual transaction.

As Anchor Realty enters its fourth generation, Peter is focused on honoring the foundation established by his great-grandfather and carried forward by his father while helping position the company for its next chapter. He is particularly interested in bringing new technology, modern business practices, and a fresh perspective to the firm without losing the highly personalized, hands-on approach that has defined Anchor Realty since 1945.

For Peter, joining Anchor Realty is more than a career move; it is an opportunity to continue a family legacy, learn from generations of experience, and help build upon a business that has served San Francisco property owners, buyers, sellers, and tenants for more than eight decades. He looks forward to helping guide the company’s continued growth while preserving the integrity, personal service, and long-term relationships that remain at the heart of Anchor Realty.
